Cha Cha Cha @Downtown LA in the Arts District
Elephante @Santa Monica
Broken Shaker @Downtown LA
E.P. & L.P. (aka L.P. Rooftop Bar) @West Hollywood
Mama Shelter @Hollywood
Margo @Culver City - watch the lightrail Metro train whiz by while eating at this aerial rooftop. The coolest Culver City has to offer.
Calabra @Santa Monica Proper hotel - jawdropping Kelly Wearstler designs in a spa-like hotel
Harriets Rooftop @West Hollywood - old and new Hollywood vibes with bold pinstripes off the Sunset Strip
Catch @West Hollywood - Named for its seafood, known for its atrium, rooftop vibes = a magical paradise
Bar Bohemian @Culver City - the Citizen Marketplace’s easy-going rooftop. Casual food hall vibes minus the pomp of WeHo
High Rooftop @Venice - Hotel Erwin’s well-known rooftop along Venice Beach. Bring a blanket as it gets chilly once the sundrops!
ONYX Rooftop Bar @Santa Monica - A classic inside the Shangri-La Hotel
The Rooftop by JC @Beverly Hills - inside the new Waldolf Astoria, absolutely pretentious and absolutely worth it
Umbrella Club @Beverly Hills - inside the Sixty Beverly Hills Hotel. Modern West Coast Luxury (lots of bold stripes and cabanas for pool guests)
Terra @Eataly - Eataly’s third floor, rooftop grill and lounge area anchored by the square Bar Botanica
Ace Hotel @Downtown LA - no one does casual, urban-bohemian cool better than Ace Hotel and their rooftop complete with a pool the size of a hot tub, is often crowded on peak days. Better for people watching and a drink, but always feeling very “in it”
